Welcome to Yew Tree Primary School - from the Head Teacher, Mr Martin.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and read about our school and the education we have to offer your child. Yew Tree Primary takes great pride in the achievements of all of our children, staff and Governors. It is a happy school and we value the involvement of parents in the education of their children.
At present the school operates on two sites approximately half a mile apart. These are located on Birchfield Way and Greenside Way.The large majority of the pupils will relocate onto the Birchfield Way site in September 2010 and the rest in March 2011 when phase one of a new building will be complete.
The school had a successful Ofsted inspection in October, 2009. Ofsted describe the school as a 'good school' and that 'the care,guidance and support the school provides for its pupils and families are outstanding". To view the report click on the link below.
