School Improvement Plan 2026/27

We have regularly review our School Improvement Plan (SIP) in order to ensure continued & sustained improvement at Yew Tree Primary School. The SIP, which runs from September - July of each academic year, builds on previous progress that the school has made and is aimed to embed, refine and develop our exemplary practice. The over-arching principle of our SIP for 2026/27 is 'Every Child Achieving & Thriving'.

The full plan is available to download below but, for your information, our Core Priorities for 2026/27 are:

  • Develop & refine an Inclusion Strategy which ensures excellence and equity for all.
  • Refine pedagogical understanding so that consistent high-quality teaching & learning supports the expectation that all pupils excel in their achievements.
  • Engage with Voice 21 to develop oracy across the school so that pupils can articulate, confidently and securely, their thoughts, opinions and beliefs whilst actively listening to others.

If you have any questions about our school development priorities then please do get in touch with a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
