There are lots and lots of things you can do to develop early reading skills with your Nursery aged children. 

Singing rhymes and songs helps children to develop rhythm, alliteration awareness and a wide range of vocabulary. 

Sharing stories together, asking questions and making comments about the pictures you can see is also a great idea!

Children love to learn new words. Introduce, use and model lots and lots of new words for your children to learn.
