Week 2 Homework

Children are expected to read their library book every day for 20 minutes and log it on Boom Reader.Please log any reading you do with your child on Boom Reader as well. The website is linked below but there is also an app which can be downloaded to use at home. Children can also access MYON reading, please ensure they complete an AR test once they have finished.
 
Children also need to practice their timetables each day. Please use  TT rockstars, Hit The Button or TTBlast.

As part of our new topic "Urban Pioneers" the children have been looking and learning all about the city of Birmingham this week.

For homework this week we would like the children to create a short fact file about the city this could include:

• population
• famous landmarks
• transport
• recent tourist events.

They can present this any way they like, the brighter the better as we shall display them on our topic boards in the classroom.
