Operation Encompass
Anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, socio-economic status, sexuality or background. There are different kinds of abuse that can happen in different contexts. The most prevalent type of domestic abuse occurs in relationships. However, the definition of domestic abuse also covers abuse between family members, such as adolescent to parent violence and abuse.
Operation Encompass is our way or working directly with the police to support families where there are members who are victims of domestic abuse. We hope the information and guidance on this page helps. However, please always get in touch with us, or one of the agencies below, if you would like to talk.
If you are living with domestic abuse, you can always talk to somebody at school about this. Please do get in touch, in confidence, if you would like a chat.
Alternatively, please see information below.
