What are Wellbeing Warriors?
Yew Tree's Wellbeing Warriors are a group of children who all believe that the wellbeing of every person in our Yew Tree family is fundamental to their happiness and a positive mental health. Children applied for the role by explaining why they wanted to be a Wellbeing Warrior and outlining what qualities they would bring to the role.

Wellbeing Warrior Meeting
27.09.24 - Today, the children have spent time brainstorming ideas of how they can support the wellbeing of our school community.
25.10.24 - Today, our Wellbeing Warriors have been thinking about emotions. We talked about how it is normal to feel a range of emotions throughout the day and the importance of knowing how to deal with them.
15.11.24 - The Wellbeing Warriors have been introduced to our new 'Regulation Stations' that we are implementing into all our classrooms to support children when they are struggling to deal with any overwhelming feelings and emotions to ensure they have the skills to deal with them in the correct way.
Over the next week, alongside their teacher, the Wellbeing Warriors will be introducing these into their class and explaining how they can be used.
