Language Leaders
Language Leaders at Yew Tree support and promote all kinds of language learning. They are excited by learning new languages and finding out about different cultures. Their role includes supporting Señora Ashfield and their classmates during Spanish lessons and doing mini recap lessons of the week's language learning. We are proud to have become a member of the Global School Alliance in 2024. This is a community of over 8000 schools in 127 countries. The GSA’s aim is to provide global learning for children and young people. Membership gives us the chance to engage with other schools around the world, exchange ideas and broaden global perspectives at Yew Tree. Thanks to the GSA, we have recently been paired with a school in Zaragoza, Spain. Language Leaders will play a key part in any future projects we undertake with our new partner school.
