We were delighted to have moved in to our amazing new building in November 2019. A year later, in September 2020, we also had access to newly developed grounds once the old building had been demolished. It is an amazing space which will ensure we can deliver an excellent quality of education for our children.
Since having full access to our site and buildings we have continued with extensive developments which will support our children's learning for many years to come. This has included the installation of specific outdoor learning spaces for our youngest children, development of our forest school areas and growth of our woodland maze and the addition of an outdoor gym. We are also in the early stages of developing our very own allotments on site as well as the introduction of a mini school farm.
This page will show you the transformation that has taken place at Yew Tree over the past few years. We are very grateful to the DfE for funding this project and to the contractors, Kier, for their work in completing it.
Thank you to everyone in our community for your patience and understanding during the last few years whilst we have endured significant building work.
