After School Clubs

At Yew Tree Primary School, we offer a wide variety of after school clubs. We try to keep the costs as low as possible and do offer subsidies for children eligible for pupil premium funding. Please speak to the office to check if your child is eligible for a reduction in costs.

Click on the links below to find out more information about each club. If you have any questions about these then please speak to your child's class teacher or a member of the admin team.

Extra-Curricular Policy

In order to keep the children safe, all clubs organised by the school are appropriately risk assessed and the school's safeguarding procedures and checks are in place. If you have any questions about these then please speak to the school via a member of the admin team.

If your child accesses any 'Out Of School Activities' (OOSA) then it is important you check with the provider what their safeguarding arrangements are. Information and guidance to support you can be downloaded below.

Club Providers in the Local Area

We cannot quality assure these clubs as they are outside providers.

Performing Arts

These weekly performing arts classes (Saturdays) feature 90 minutes of singing, dancing and acting. As well as fostering key skills in these three disciplines, these classes are ideal for building confidence, encouraging creativity and teamwork, having fun, and making friends.

Classes for children aged 3-6 years and 7-16 years.

They also offer Holiday Workshops which allow children to develop in the areas of singing, dancing and acting through an intensive, fun-filled 4 days during the school holidays. It concludes with a performance, giving family and friends the opportunity to see the exciting things their child has been working towards throughout the week. All children are split into age-appropriate classes. The workshop is open to all boys and girls who are aged between 3 and 16 years, whether they are currently a student at Breakout or not.
