This is where we will set activities for you to complete at home, together with providing the necessary support and guidance you may require during periods of prolonged absence from school, e.g. unavoidable school closures.
Within this zone you will see ideas and activities to support your child's learning at home. This can be used independently or as directed by your child's class teacher. The resources from this page, and any linked websites, will be used in the event of any local lockdown but also to complement any in-school teaching.
Any year group specific information shall be posted to the year group pages on our website.
NB: We will always do our utmost to ensure children are able to attend school in person as remote education cannot replicate teaching in school. However, these procedures are there for emergency or exceptional circumstances.
Useful Web Links
Oak National Academy
Oak National Academy launched on 20th April 2020 as an online classroom and resource hub to support teachers in providing learning materials for their pupils in ‘virtual schools’. This resource is FREE to use and contains daily lessons for children from Reception upwards.
You can access these lessons, alongside the materials that we publish, at your leisure to support your child’s learning. Our teachers will direct you to suitable materials each week to complement the teaching that is taking place in school.
