Welcome to Year 4!

We are really excited to get to know you and work with you and your child this year. We have lots of exciting things coming up this year and this page will give you the key information you will need for this year. 

This year the staff that will be supporting you in Year 4 are:

4A - Miss Clarke

4B - Ms Johal

4C - Mrs Capewell

Cover Staff:

PE Days

Each class will have 2 PE sessions per week:

4A - Monday and Tuesday

4B - Tuesday and Wednesday

4C - Wednesday and Friday

Please make sure your child has their PE kit in school at the beginning of every half term and these will then be sent home again at the end of every half term. The PE dress policy can be found on the school website.

Our Current Topic

Our current topic is called "Misty Mountain, Winding River." In this topic, we will be learning about the characteristics and features of different rivers and mountain ranges in both the UK and around the world. We will also look in detail at the different ecosystems that can be found by the rivers and mountains of the world. This will help us to make our own travel bag in DT sessions and paint our own natural landscapes in Art.
