Topic 1 - Our Changing World
In this geography-led project, children will revise the features of the Earth and explore time zones, lines of latitude and longitude, and map skills such as grid references and contour lines. They will learn about climate change, global warming and how extreme weather affects communities around the world. The project also covers global trade and the movement of goods, as well as local fieldwork focusing on road safety and human settlement patterns.
