Rocks, Relics and Rumbles 

In this topic the children will learn about the features of Earth's layers and will explore volcanic, tectonic and seismic activity. They will discover how tectonic plates have changed the Earth overtime, how volcanoes are formed, the location of significant volcanoes within the Ring of Fire and the effect of significant volcanic eruptions.

Ammonite

In this topic the children will learn the techniques used in sketching, printing and sculpture. They will look closely at ammonite patterns, explore Fibonacci patterns and relief printing and then sculpt their own ammonite using clay.
