Everyday Materials

This half term we have been learning all about everyday materials. This has involved us looking at the different types of materials, being able to identify a variety of common materials, explore a range of objects and the materials from which they are made and describing the properties of various materials. 

The children were given the chance to look at some materials and conduct an experiment to see which materials are waterproof and which are absorbent.
