Tribal Tales

Have a look at some of our learning

Stone Age Monuments

During this topic, we learned about the different monuments people built during the Stone Age. We looked at surviving monuments such as Stonehenge and Seahenge and used this to help design our own monument. We then had a go at making some of our own monuments.

Stone Age Tools

We also learned about the different tools which the people of the Stone Age used. We learned how they used sticks, string and stones to build a range of tools such as hammers, bow and arrows, fishing rods and spears. Then, we had a go at making our own tools using items we found in our Forest School area.

Woven Baskets

During the Stone Age, people used to weave to make lots of different household items such as baskets and clothes. We learned how to weave using paper and applied this skill to help us make our own woven baskets.
