Topic 4- A Child's War

During our 'A Child's War' topic, we created our own Anderson Shelters. We began by building a structure and then used cardboard to create a net that we used to form the walls/roof.
Science
The children enjoyed dissecting lamb's hearts during our science lesson.
PE
In PE, we are currently focusing on cricket.
We are currently learning about the cricket technique and will progress into playing a game of cricket.

Year 6 Inspire Session
Today we held our first 'Inspire' session for parents and children. We focussed upon times tables and column multiplication as they are used in many aspects of maths.
