Welcome to Nursery!

The Nursery team are excited to welcome you to the Yew Tree family and we are really looking forward to working with you and your child this year.

The staff that will be supporting your child in their learning journey this year are:

• Ms. McCormack (Class teacher) 
• Ms. Bowdler (Teaching assistant) 

Our Early Years lead is Mrs. Fry. 

PE Days

PE will take place once a week on a Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon. Children are not required to wear a PE kit in Nursery. Please see the clothing uniform policy on the website for more information. 

Forest School

Forest School will take place once a week on a Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Children are required to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. For more information click here:

Big Wide World

 This project teaches children about the global community to which they belong and explores how living things, communities and climates differ around the world.

In this mini project teaches children about water, including floating and sinking, freezing and melting, and why it is important for living things to stay hydrated.
