  As tomorrow marks the start of #BlackHistoryMonth, we wanted to share this fantastic resource with you:

  This document (also shared on Dojo) gives you the opportunity to learn about black history by finding out about the lives of individuals (one for each day of October) or exploring texts, poems or other cultural ideas.

  

• Into The Wild - Theme Day Lunch - THURSDAY 6th OCTOBER

  Our catering company, Dolce, are planning an exciting theme lunch on THURSDAY 6th OCTOBER. 

   

  If you would like to book your child a meal, visit School Grid and make your booking ASAP.

  

• Harvest 2022

  Please remember to send in any tins, packets and household products that you can spare on FRIDAY 23rd SEPTEMBER for our annual Harvest collection. 

   

  Any donations received this year will be used in our very own food bank which means we can directly support families at Yew Tree when they need it.

  

• Rags to Riches

  Our next Rags to Riches collection day is WEDNESDAY 28th SEPTEMBER. 

   

  Please have a good sort out at home (and get neighbours and relatives to do the same) and send in as many donations as you can from Monday 26th until 9.00am on 28.09.22.

   

  The more we collect, the more money we raise for our School Council.
